Organization

The Dixon Junior Dukes is a non-profit youth sport organization offering participation in football and cheerleading for the youth of our community.

We are not affiliated with the Dixon Public School system.

It is the policy of the Dixon Junior Dukes organization that there will be no discrimination or harassment based on the grounds of race, color, sex, marital status, religion, national origin, age or disability in any programs, activities, or employment.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Dixon Junior Dukes are committed to teaching the fundamentals of football, cheer, teamwork, cooperation, fair play, character building, and fun.

In order to achieve these goals parents, staff, and administration must be role models, by example, in their conduct and stay within the boundaries of good sportsmanship and fair play.

With the fulfillment of these goals all participants will leave the program with a strong sense of self-confidence and self-respect for the betterment of the youth and our community.

 Objectives
Through the collaboration with coaches, players, family members, friends, and volunteers the staff of the Dixon Junior Dukes organization is committed to the following objectives:


1. We will provide a safe, fun, sportsmanlike
environment for boys and girls to learn the fundamentals of football and cheerleading.

2. We will teach and encourage participation in the sport of American football and cheerleading, while developing the value of teamwork.

3. We will promote good sportsmanship and the importance of physical activity in the lives of the participants while promoting positive physical and emotional development of the players.

4. We will develop a standard of values and ethics, which demonstrates sportsmanship and positive representation of self, team, school, and community.

5. We will carry out competitive games.
